Spread the Wonderful News of Salvation through Jesus

Every person has sinned against God, consciously or unconsciously. God's Word says that the punishment for any sin is death and separation from God after death in Hell. So the state of every man is truly dismal without some way to change that situation. And man is powerless to save himself from that fate. But God looked down on man with compassion and decided to give every man a chance to be saved from that fate.  So He Himself came to earth in the form of a man, Jesus Christ. Born of a virgin by supernatural intervention from God, Jesus was fully God and fully man.  While Jesus was on earth He showed us how to live in a right relationship with God and man. But most of all He came to pay the penalty for our sins, to be led like a sacrificial lamb to slaughter, as the Substitute for all who would believe in Him. Yes, He came to save us from our sins, that is, to save anyone who would believe in Him.

Yes, Jesus' salvation is a gift, which must be received. He offers the free gift of salvation to anyone who will turn to Him. This message is truly wonderful, far better than a cure for cancer or any disease, and should be told far and wide, high and low.

You and I need to tell others the good news about what Jesus has done for us.  He told us to do that. And we should make sure that this message gets told to as many people as possible in as many places as possible. Jesus said “go” and “all nations” (Matthew 28:18-20) and “ends of the earth”. (Acts 1:8)

So Christian missionaries do go. Missionaries do this because they see a world of lost souls, separated from God by their sins, and understand that God wants to use them as messengers of His love and saving grace to them. It is this love for people that motivates most missionaries to do what they do. They have a deep sense that trying to reach people in a land where the opportunities to hear about Christ are small is the right thing to do with their lives. They feel that, considering what they know to be true about God, the situation of mankind, the fleeting nature of life, and the way that God has related with them personally, Christian missions is what they ought to be doing. Since they give their lives for Christ to share His love with those in the hard places of the world, should we not support them in their endeavors?

You or your church probably has a relationship with a missions organization already. Won't you consider a generation donation to an organization that strives that spread the name of Jesus everywhere. If you have no connection with any such organization, here is a link to many.

And another place where you'll find donating money to a good cause to be very easy.
